At the beginning of WW II, The German people needed guidance and liberation for their damaged lands and economic structure in the modern world. After the first world war the German people needed something to boost their place in the world and their image. In october 1935 the Germans led by Adolf Hitler, joined forces with the italians led by Benito Mussolini in the invasion of Ethiopia. While the United State, France, and the united Kingdom did little to protest the invasion. The consequence of this lack of effort would later show in one of the most devastating events in human history. About a year earlier in march nazi Germany under the control Adolf Hitler led a campaign against the European Jews.
Adolf Hitler saw the Jews as the reason everything was wrong with Germany during WW I, he thought Germany was stabbed in the back by the Jewish people and they weren't good for anything or anyone in Europe. HItler saw them as impure and thought their genetics were inferior to their own. Germans we not allowed to have children with Jews even before the beginning of the holocaust. From this came a dark and twisted method of controlling the Jewish people. They put into concentration camps by the thousands and forced into labor and usually put to death. During this time in Poland, anti semitism was rapidly growing and the Jewish people were excluded from key sectors of Polish society, most political Poles pressed for the mass immigration of Jews in poland. The invasion of Poland took place in 1939, the country was divided into two sections one section was occupied by the Nazis, while the other half The Soviet Union. The Nazis saw the Polish as racially inferior and treated them almost the same as the Jews, thousands of Polish teachers, intellectuals, political leaders and priests we killed. Well over 1 million non-Jewish poles were forced into labor and deported while another million were put into ghettos in German occupied Poland. In these ghettos or “Holding Pens” thousands of Jews and Poles died from overcrowding and disease but the ones who survived were deported to killing centers all across Europe. The ghettos were confined by the blackmailed polish police and railroad personnel who also were in charge of deporting the Jews as well as hunting down the Jews that were in hiding. Usually killing them on the spot or moving them into the ghettos, the hunters so to speak also took advantage of the property or plunder that the Jews owned, making a lucky hunter a rich man. Some believe that to this day there are still valuables and treasures buried in the ground all over Europe from the Jews during this time. https://www.ushmm.org/information/press/press-releases/collaboration-and-complicity-during-the-holocaust# |
